Join us for The Mermaid Cabaret, a dazzling circus spectacular filled with enchanting performances from mythical mermaids, serenading sirens, and a cast of incredible creatures who will lure you into a story of music, madness, and metamorphosis.
At the heart of this darkly romantic tale is a failed musician whose dream of stardom has slipped through his fingers. Plagued by anxiety and self-doubt, he’s a mess, but his wife adores him, their bond something truly magical. When she convinces him to take a humble job at her father’s fish shop, fate takes a strange turn. There, among the ice and scales, he discovers a living mermaid and brings her home.
Soon he learns that the mermaid’s blood, or perhaps her flesh, holds a terrible power: it can transform him into the man he’s always wanted to be. But how much of his humanity is he willing to lose to feel complete? And what will it do to the woman who loves him?
What follows is one extraordinary night of musical numbers and sinful adventures. A glittering, gothic fable that asks:

The Hollywood Theatre offers a unique charm, blending historic elegance with intimate, immersive seating that makes every performance feel personal. While this event does not include dinner, the theatre features three full-service bars (two on the main floor, one on the mezzanine), offering a selection of craft cocktails, local beers, and iconic Hollywood Theatre favorites, perfect for enjoying as the story unfolds.
